I REFINISHED THE MINISCULE AREA OF CONCERN WITH A SUPER GLUE COAT (JUST A DROP), DABBED WITH PAPER TOWEL, THEN USED A BLACK MARKER TO MY ESTHETIC CONTENT. YOU MAY END UP WITH A MILD INSIGNIFICANT RASH AT THE OLD KNOB AND/OR THE BOOT EDGE. NICE AND SLOW IS THE KEY AT CRITICAL STEP #3, TO PREVENT TEARING UP THE BOOT. NOTE: FOR KNOB REPLACEMENT ONLY (NO NEW BOOT). INSTALL YOUR NEW KNOB BY FIRST LIGHTLY POUNDING ON IT AFTER ALIGNING, THEN SLIDE THE BOOT WITH RING INTACT FROM UNDERNEATH Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front wing oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back wing horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it.
